Q&A with Wichita Heights’ Cale Milleson – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Aegis

VYPE recently interviewed Wichita Heights football player Cale Milleson to discuss the upcoming season.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals for the year, academically and athletically would probably being as good of a role model as I possibly can be for our young guys. My goal and our team’s goal is to win a state championship. Academically, I’m trying to have a 4.0 GPA and graduate.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

The most fun i’ve had in the past year is just being around the guys. Our team has a special relationship. We love being around each other and playing together.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

My favorite teacher is probably my history teacher from this past year. Mrs. Davis always made class interesting with projects and certain assignments she’d give us. I enjoyed the class because I’d consider myself a nerd when it comes to history.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite sport’s memory is probably the Wichita West game. As a team, both sides of the ball played great and was just a fun game to be a part of. None of my teammates have left really an impression on me.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part of being on the team is just that everyone loves everyone. It’s like having 70 something brothers.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

I would love to go to Hawaii or Turks and Caicos’s. I would either just go with my family or I would take a bunch of my buddies.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

I would probably spend the $500 on some shoes or a PS5.

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?

I don’t participate in community service projects but i do help coach little league football. We’ve got some dawgs on our team.

VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?

I’m apart of NHS at our school.
