Wichita Heights’ Mya Mayberry gave an interview with VYPE to talk about her life.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for the year is to get 1st team all city in each of my sports.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher is probably Mr. Thomason although he hasn’t been my teacher yet that is my favorite person at the school.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is when we beat Southeast and we lifted Coach Thomason up.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Madelyn Jabara who was on my team last year has probably left the biggest impression on me she always kept my head on straight and was a great teammate.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I could choose any place to go it’d be to Mexico and it’d be by myself not with anyone!
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
If I got $500 right now I probably wouldn’t spend it at all I would put the money towards college.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m not apart of any community service groups or projects or any clubs beside aau basketball.
