
Wichita East athlete David Savinon recently interviewed with VYPE to discuss his life.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals this year is to end season with a regional title.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I’ve had this past year is enjoying practice everyday after school.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher is Mr. Boiling the physical education teacher at East High because he’s a chill and understanding teacher.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is always senior night because I get to see and applaud our seniors for being there for us.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teammates that left the biggest impression on me are Alex Sosa and Andrew they are teammates that I have played in middle school and my freshman and sophomore years. They would pick me up and push me to work harder.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about being with this team is that it always feelings like you’re with family because you are. We all help each other out no matter what and have each others backs. We make sure we stay united and cared for.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I could pick anyplace to go for summer vacation it would be a place in Spain or a European place will always be a dream of mine and I’d take my family. They need a break from working and they need to relax a bit.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
If I was given $500 and had 24 hours to spend it I would most likely spend it on snacks or parts for my truck.
