As part of our commitment to continue to connect with the Wichita community, Wichita Public Schools is launching its second-annual Community Engagement Survey.
The survey will be open the entire month of April. It is designed to measure community awareness of various aspects of WPS, including student achievement priorities, safety and belonging, overall satisfaction and overall engagement with WPS. Feedback will help guide decision-making as WPS works to align resources and strategies with the needs and expectations of its community.
“We have been listening to our community with intention for the past few years, and this survey is one tool to help us guide our decisions,” said Superintendent Kelly Bielefeld.
“The survey is a powerful tool for better understanding how our community perceives our schools, how connected they feel to our district, and how deeply they trust us to educate the next generation of workers and leaders.”

Survey results will be shared with the Board of Education this summer.
