To place in the top three at GWAL, qualify more boys and girls for State than last year, and win more duals.

Qualifying 6 total for State-4 boys and 2 girls.
VYPE: Who is the team’s dynamic duo, and why?
Zeke Brown(126) and Carson Bandy(132)- they are practice partners, and since they follow each other, it is a boost to the team.
VYPE: What is the team’s favorite memory together?
Seeing Druzzla Johnson winning a State title this year and going undefeated at 190lbs.
VYPE: What has been the biggest impression the team has made on you (the coach), and why?
How hard they work both in the practice room and in the classroom.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of working with this team?
The personalities, the family aspect, and the love they have for each other.
VYPE: Does the team participate in any community service projects?
We help run the Southern Plains Freestyle and Greco tournament in June.
VYPE: Are you any players involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
Zeke Brown is a member of the KSHSAA Student Advisory Board, Druzzla Johnson, and Mencali En are both outstanding students as well.
