Wichita North athlete Manuel Lira-Morales interviewed with VYPE to discuss who he is.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for this year are to finish off this school year with a good GPA and get into a good college, also recovering from my ACL injury.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun i have had, going on vacations with my family during the summer.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher, i have had many great teacher but my advocacy teacher Ms. Taylor has always been a big help to me.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory has been traveling with my teammates after a big win and celebrating.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
All my teammates are great and I appreciate every single one of them for putting in hard work day in and day out.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being on this team is that everybody supports each other and everybody is playing not only for themselves but for each other as well.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
For vacation i would definitely go to Mexico and take my whole family with me.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would give my mom a shopping spree she deserves it.
